The fun has begun. The weather hasn’t allowed much fishing on day one, Gareth braved the wind and cold for some chokka while hoping for that drift line hookup. Unfortunately that hookup didn’t come and the pot standings remain empty.

On the up side, birds working the backline has been spotted all over in false bay. Now if only the wind would allow us to go out and fish those waters. Below in Strand so likely Leeries and Elf feeding, but you never know.

This leaves Devin potentially in the lead with his 2018 catch hopefully thawing in time to be “re-caught”.
